Welcome to the 1920s picnic at Longue Vue House and Gardens page! On November 18th the 1920s picnic will be moving over to Longue Vue house! There will be live music, croquet on the lawn, dance lessons, a best dressed competition and more to come! Tickets are available through the ticket link, at Century Girl Vintage, and through Lady Delaney at 3719 Magazine Street.
To join in on the fun all you need is your jazz age alter ego and a picnic basket filled with goodies of your choice! This picnic will attempt to transport you into those bygone eras when jazz was king of the Crescent City. The picnic will begin around 10am, and continue into the afternoon. Come dressed in your best 1920s/30s vintage or come decked out in your best inspired fashions. Since this is a picnic, be sure to bring a filled picnic basket, blanket, and your finest giggle water!
Music is encouraged, but please keep it period appropriate. Any one so musically inclined is welcome to play as well, but any instruments must be acoustic.
Tickets are $20, which gives you access to Longue Vue gardens and the picnic.
