ABOUT CATHERINE ANDERSON
Catherine Anderson is in high demand as a free-lance musician in the New Orleans area, providing harp music for the region’s professional arts organizations and a host of clients, from business corporations to universities to brides. She has appeared as solo harpist for the Ritz-Carlton tearoom since its inception in 2000 and enjoys performing with touring shows, including concerts by Stevie Wonder, Johnnie Mathis, Frank Sinatra Jr., Perry Como, and Natalie Cole.

ABOUT THE ORLÉANS COLLECTION SYMPOSIUM
The New Orleans Museum of Art and the Frick Collection’s Center for the History of Collecting will host a two-day symposium, January 11-12, 2019, in conjunction with The Orleans Collection, an exhibition dedicated to the collecting and collection of Philippe II, Duke of Orléans (1674–1723) and on view at NOMA through January 27, 2019. Vanessa Schmid, NOMA’s Senior Research Curator of European Art, will deliver a keynote address titled “Repositioning Philippe’s Collecting.” This lecture is open to the public and free with museum admission. To view the full lineup of speakers on Saturday, January 12, for the advance-registration portion of the symposium, visit this link.
